In his classic song "The Secret of Time," Charlie Peacock wrote, "I'd rather sing just ten true words than a hundred words that in the end amount to nothing." This line captured my heart and imagination. I love the idea that in a world where we are bombarded with words, words, words, there is a beauty in saying less but speaking truth.

I'm not a prolific writer, but I hope what I do write promotes love in a world of apathy, peace in a world of conflict, patience in a world of selfishness, kindness in a world of casual cruelty.

People ask me what the "ten true words" are. They're not ten specific words; they're any words that bring life to others.
